Donna Mae Blevins, at the age of seventy-three, was called to be with our Lord on Tuesday, November 30 ^th , 2021. Having lived in Roanoke, Virginia, for more than fifty years, she had made many friends throughout the Valley but had fostered family even more. Donna was mother to four surviving children: her eldest son, Jeffery "Pee Wee" Meador, her son Jack Meador and his wife Anne Meador, her daughter Dana Lumsden and husband Sean Lumsden, and her youngest son, Travis Jackson. In her life, Donna was sister to her brother Tony Smith, daughter to her mother Sara Dowdy and father Lamer Smith, both parents having predeceased her, and stepdaughter to her stepfather Roger Conrad, also having predeceased her. Donna was a loving grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren and was great-grandmother to twenty-five children.

As a homemaker, Donna was inspirational to her family in all her creative and artistic endeavors. She enjoyed creating various colorful works of art, as well as simply doodling on letters to loved ones, wearing fashionable attire, and trending makeup. Donna also collected unique jewelry to enhance any outfit and was known to appreciate cinema pieces, particularly those belonging to the western and science fiction genres. Prior to becoming a homemaker, Donna worked for Roanoke Memorial Hospital, helping to ensure the care and welfare of others. Lastly, Donna enjoyed social engagements of all kinds but was especially enjoyed attending services worshiping God at the Central Church of the Brethren.

While Donna's family grieves her passing, she is remembered and honored pursuant to her wishes and spirit. After her cremation, her ashes will be scattered at future date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Angels of Assissi at www.angelsofassissi.org .
