Dewey Rickie Taylor, affectionately known as Rick, peacefully departed this world on July 19, 2023. He was a dedicated Mason who found fulfillment in his work at Lewis Gale Medical Center until his retirement. Rick's cherished moments were spent in the company of his beloved wife and dog, enjoying the serenity of their yard and riding his motorcycles.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents, Hazel and Dewey Taylor, his sister Ann Haga, and his sister-in-law Debrah Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Rose Taylor; their children, Jamie Mollett (Robert) and Rickie Taylor (Melissa); and his adored grandchildren, Breeanna Taylor, Steven Caleb Mollett (Mackenzie), Candice Taylor, Dexan Taylor, and Rickie Taylor. Rick also had the joy of being a great-grandfather to Dawson Taylor, Charlie Mallett, and Paisley Mollett.

Rick's memory will forever be cherished by his brothers, Danny Taylor, Terrie Taylor, and John Taylor, who shared a lifetime of memories with their dear brother.

A celebration of Rick's life will be held to honor the wonderful memories he left us. Details of the memorial service will be announced soon.
