Mr. David Lee Lurch, Jr. of Roanoke, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the age of 71. He was boring on December 16, 1950 in West Virginia to the late David Lee Lurch, Sr. and Helen Pauline Hicks Lurch. David was an incredible freelance photographer for NBC and during his tenure in the Army from 1979-1990.

The memories David leaves behind will be forever cherished by his sons, Chris and David Lurch III, her daughter-in-law, Mariella, and her grandchildren, Braeden and Tegan Lurch,  and countless friends who loved him dearly.

He will be placed at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
