Danny Lynn Hale, of Salem, peacefully passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 66.

Danny was born on July 16, 1955, in Salem, to the late Charles Ralph and Louvenia Joyce DeHart Hale.

Danny loved his family, his grandchildren, and his Lord Jesus.

Danny served in the US Navy from 1974 to 1978 on the USS John Paul Jones, USS Enterprise, and the USS Knox. He was retired from H.L. Lawson and Son as a truck driver.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lori Hale; son, Jason (Dr. Jennifer) Hale; and daughter, Spring (Jeffrey) Clinevell; grandsons, Alex Hale, Nathan Hale, Gabriel Clinevell, and granddaughter, Serenity Hale; brother, Jeff Hale (Patrick Farrell); sister, Charlotte Hale; brothers-in-law, Clifford (Brenda) Pratt, Kenny Pratt; and sisters-in-law, Jewel Blue and Cathy Pratt.

A funeral service will be held at Riverside Evangelical Methodist Church on Thursday, April 14, 2022, beginning at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022, at 11 a.m. at SW Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
