Daniel Lee Taylor passed away on March 2, 2022, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. He was born October 6, 1959, in Washington, D.C. to the late, Everett L. and Martha E. Taylor. The family lived in a place called Burgundy Village in Alexandria, VA. He moved around in the northern Virginia area before settling down in Moneta, VA in Smith Mountain Lake. He worked in a print shop for several years cutting paper for envelopes, he also worked for a frozen food distributor called Mazar Lurch for several years, as well as UPS.

Danny is survived by his brother and sister, Stephen L. Taylor, of Union Hall VA, SML, and Grace F. Smith, of Moneta VA, SML. He is also survived by two daughters, Jamie Royes of Florida and Serena Darnell of Lynchburg, VA, one son, Michael Taylor of Texas, and ten grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, March 7, 2022, at Mount Ivy Christian Church (5120 Scruggs Rd. Moneta, VA 24121)
