Dale Allan Lohr, 64, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

Dale was born in Ohio on October 6, 1957, to the late Herbert and Donna Haycook Lohr.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bruce Lohr; and his sister, Wanda Rowlinson.

Dale was a very loving guy, who had a heart of gold and would do anything for anybody. He was always working hard to provide for his family. He was a machinist for 38 years but always made time to spend with his family. Some of his favorite family activities were fishing, hunting, going to the gun range, and having cookouts. Dale loved nature and spending his time outdoors. Making memories with the people that he loved came easy to Dale. It was rare to see him without a smile on his face. He would always say if he couldn't make you smile; he wasn't doing his job. He was quite the jokester, making having fun with him come easy. One of his favorite nicknames was given to him by his niece and that was Dale-A-Row.

Those left to cherish Dale's memory are his wife, Pat Lohr; his children, Nicole Lohr and Herbie Lohr; his brothers, Frosty Lohr (Clay), Don Lohr (Peg), and Tom Lohr (Deb); his sisters-in-law, Leila Lohr, Billie Sage (Rex), and Theresa Duval; his brother-in-law, Rodger Rowlinson; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
