Christina Lee "CJ" Jones, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 9, 1980, in Phoenix, Arizona.

CJ was known for her magnetic personality—she had many friends and never met a stranger. She loved the outdoors, especially the beach and her garden, and enjoyed music and social gatherings. CJ had a special fondness for both children and animals, often opening her home to pets in need—strays and even the occasional wild visitor. She had a generous heart, always finding value in life's small moments and never hesitating to give to others.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Eva and Russell Speer; her parents, Joyce and Charles Jones; and cherished pets, Pumpkin, Muzzy, Robin, and Dixie.

Left to cherish her memory are her devoted boyfriend, Gerald Patsell; her brother, Chuck Jones (Alice); her sister, Veronica Lara; her niece, Inara Jones; and many dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in CJ's honor to Angels of Assisi in Roanoke, Virginia, reflecting her enduring love for animals.
