Carrie Leigh Buckner, affectionately known as "Fuzzball," was born on October 9, 1988, in Roanoke, VA, and passed away on August 16, 2024, in Roanoke, VA.

Carrie was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and a loving mom to her many cherished fur babies. Her love for her husband and family was boundless, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Carrie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Della Cumbow, and her grandfather, Wilton Salmons.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis William Buckner; her father and stepmother, David Lee Salmons and Donna Salmons; her mother-in-law, Kimberly Sue Greenway; her grandparents, Larry and Alice Cumbow, Linda Salmons, and Virginia Buckner; her step-siblings, Kayla Billings and Korey Branch; and her aunts, Cindy Boswell, Dawn Peterson, Rachel Cumbow, Amanda Johnston, and Tammy Roop; her uncles, Michael Salmons and Wayne Salmons; and her many cousins, including Jordan Johnston, Lukas Johnston, Brittany Barrientes, CJ Boswell, and Mitchell Boswell.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 22, at 1:00 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, 1401 Mountain View Road, Vinton, VA 24179.
