Carolyn Bray, born on August 28, 1955, in Roanoke, VA, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the age of 68.

Carolyn was a dedicated employee of Western Sizzlin' and Holiday Inn, where she was well-loved and respected.

Carolyn had a special place in her heart for her babies and built strong bonds with her hospice nurses: Krysta, Beth, Tracy, Diane, and Jessie. She enjoyed playing Wii bowling and took great pleasure in beating anyone who dared to challenge her. Carolyn was cherished by many and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Craighead, Sr. and Dorothy Woods; brothers, Cletus Craighead and Roy Craighead, Jr.; sister, Nancy Brown; and son, Victor Bray.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Felicia Watson (Tim Roark); son, John Watson; grandchildren, Shannon, Lelan, Tanner, Layla, and Ryan; great-grandchild, Waylon, as well as numerous "adopted" grandchildren; siblings, Robin Meador (Ralph), Donna Hatter, Vickie Smelser (James), Curtis Craighead (Sue), Jeanie Craighead; and numerous friends.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held at a later date.
