Mrs. Carolyn Sue Blanchard Litchfield, age 67, of Salem, VA, died Saturday, October 21, 2023, at the Lewis Gale Medical Center in Salem, VA. Mrs. Litchfield, a native of Currituck County, NC was the daughter of the late Lewis Beacher Blanchard, Sr., and Ruby Carawan Blanchard.

She is survived by two daughters, Amber Kaye Litchfield of Chester, MD, and Catherine Michelle Litchfield of Lorton, VA; one brother, Edwin Blanchard (Diane) of Morehead, NC, and one sister, Anita Williams of Virginia Beach, VA; and eight grandchildren, Skye Redford, Chase, Corey, Summer, Cameron, Christian and Connor Burruss, and Richard McMillan. She was predeceased by four brothers, Lewis Blanchard, Jr., James Blanchard, Tommy Blanchard, and Wayne Blanchard; and one sister, Ann Wendling.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Twiford's Memorial Chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC, with Minister Kevin Reiver officiating.
