Carol Ann Willett, 87, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earle and Lola Garrett; her husband, Jack Willett; and her daughter, Jill Willett Turner.

She is survived by three sons: Jeff and Chris of Roanoke, and David of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren: Josh Turner and Adam King of Roanoke, and Jason, Garrett, and Riley Willett of Greensboro; and two great-grandchildren, Brady and Emersyn Turner of Roanoke.

Known to many as "Nanny," Carol loved sewing, quilting, and working on jigsaw puzzles. Her macaroni and cheese was a requested staple at every holiday dinner. She also enjoyed Sunday road trips with Jack and sneaking treats to her dog Max. She was one of the very first "soccer moms" and seldom missed a game. She will be greatly missed.
