Brenda Gail Salmons of Vinton, Virginia, gained her angel wings and joined her husband in Heaven on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at the age of 74. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Barton and Lillian Amos Barton; her beloved husband, Wilton Douglas Salmons. She was a retired arts and crafts teacher at Virginia Baptist Children's Home who had a knack for making beautiful ceramics,

Those left to cherish Brenda's legacy are her son, David Johnson, granddaughter, Megan; great-granddaughter, Anayshia; one brother; three sisters; with lots of nieces and nephews and dear family friends.
