Bobby Joe Jennings, Jr., lovingly known as "Joey", 54, of Salem, Virginia, passed away on November 25, 2025. He was born on September 28, 1971, in Roanoke, Virginia.

Joey was formerly an Underground Construction Superintendent and proudly referred to himself as a "Tunnel Rat." He loved hunting and fishing, especially when he could share those moments with his friends and family. Being with them was what he enjoyed most.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Jennings, Sr., and Brenda Jennings, and his stepmother, Debbie Jennings.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Justin Jennings, Jacob Jennings, and Joshua Jennings; his brothers, Daniel Jennings (Sandra) and Jason Jennings; and his sister, Julie Jennings. He is also survived by his nieces, Lexi, Melody, Ashley, and Abby; his nephews, Ryan, Mason, Grayson, and Noah; his great-niece, Kennidy; and his great-nephew, Karter.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 1 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, all at Valley Funeral Home Chapel.
