Betty Ann Bryant, 74, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025.

A proud member of the Jefferson Senior High School Class of 1969, Betty spent several years working at the Coach and Four Restaurant before beginning a new adventure alongside her husband, Gary, as a team truck driver. Together, they traveled the country for 15 years before retiring. Afterward, Betty dedicated her time to caring for her mother and embraced her greatest joy: becoming a grandmother to Hunter, who was the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph R. Bandy and Ruth M. Bandy.

Those left to cherish her memory include her devoted husband, Gary S. Bryant; her daughter, Leslie Ann McDaniel (William); her beloved grandson, Hunter William McDaniel; her sister, Faye E. Smith (Britt); her stepdaughter, Krystal Bryant Makked (Dinesh), and their children, Maya and Mira; and her stepson, Daniel Steven Bryant.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at East Gate Church of the Nazarene (2002 Eastgate Ave NE, Roanoke, VA 24012) beginning at 1 p.m. with Pastor Shannon Harris, Jr. presiding.
