Barry Dean Hylton of Moneta, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the age of 53.

Barry was born on February 27, 1969, to Joshua Hylton, Jr., and the late Dollie Marie Hylton.

Barry was preceded in death by his mother; his second wife, Tammy Jae; his third wife, Vanessa Gibson; his son, Dustin Hylton; and all of his grandparents.

Barry had the biggest heart of anyone. He would do anything for anyone and would give his last dollar to help. He worked at Steel Dynamics for several years before working for himself as a carpenter. Barry loved to be in the mountains, hunting, and fishing. Barry also loved to spend time with his family. He will be missed dearly by so many as he was loved by everyone that knew him.

Those left to cherish Barry's memory are his father, Joshua (Millie); his stepchildren, Christopher, Hannah, Crystal, Ashley, and Michelle; grandson, Sammy; step-grandsons, Eli and Jace; his step-granddaughters, Kacie and Kinley; his sisters, Cindy Garner (Kenny) and Priscilla Matherly (Butch); his stepsister, Cheryl Ferris (Tim); his stepbrother, Smokey Garner (Tracy); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to honor Barry will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Goodview Baptist Church beginning at 5 p.m. with the family receiving friends one hour prior to be officiated by Pastor Joey Phillips and Pastor Kenny Davis. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held immediately after the service.
