Barry Michael Fogel, 74, passed away on June 26, 2022.

The former attorney was the son of the late Sam and Rose Fogel and was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Bassett, of Vinton; his children, Aaron (Autumn) Fogel of Nashville, Tennessee, and Alisha Joy and her children, Zach and Ben, of Royal Oak, Michigan. He is also survived by his sister, Jodi Fogel, and her family of West Shokan, New York, and his brother-in-law, Daniel Dachille, and his family of Roanoke, Virginia, as well as a host of friends and other family members.

He was exceptionally kind and intelligent, with a quick wit and a warm smile. He was affectionately called "Dude" by his grandsons; whom he adored.

As Barry requested, there will be no public services. We encourage you to celebrate his memory with good music, good food, and those you love around you.
