Mrs. Barbara Myers Nichols, of Roanoke, Virginia peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Myers and Thelma Lucille Settliff, and many brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memories are he loving sons, Johnny and James Nichols; her beloved granddaughter, Zoey Nichols; special friends, Melissa Irish and Peggy  Ashe, and numerous nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Barbara was one of a kind, she was a caretaker to everyone and gave so much of her time and effort in caring for her loving family. She was the best mother with a warrior personality and a loving grandmother to Zoey, who was her pride and joy. She was often found tagging along to Zoey's golf tournaments and all her basketball games. She was an exceptional cook and enjoyed visiting Myrtle Beach in her younger years. Mama was an incredible woman whose heart was as big as she was. Your work is done here on this earthy realm; now, go be free with Jesus.
