Barbara Martin Hughes was born September 11, 1943, to the late Norman James Martin, Sr. and Katherine Irene Peditt.  Barbara passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, June 13, 2021, along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husband Donald Ray Hughes, Sr., son Jeffrey Hughes, and brother Cary Gale Martin.  Barbara is survived by her son and Daughter-in-law Donald Ray Hughes, Jr., and Tammy.  Seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, brother, and Sister-in-law Norman James Martin Jr. and Patricia Martin, two brother-in-laws, William Bill Hughes and David Hughes, and numerous nieces and nephews, two very special puppies Rosie and Sugar Bear (aka Demon dog).  We want to thank a very special Gentle Shepard Hospice Care who helped make her transition as pain-free and comfortable from here on earth to her final resting place with our Lord and Savior.  In lieu of flowers, Barbara's wishes were to make donations to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
