Barbara Ann Grandstaff went to her heavenly home on February 26, 2021 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faithfulness to God and her family. She was known as a true Proverbs 31 woman.
Barbara was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church since 1980. Throughout her years at TRBC she enjoyed serving in the TRBC choir, cooking for the Senior Saints Ministry, starting the TRBC Widows Life and being actively involved in and traveling with the 50's Plus Ministry. She was also an active member of the Timberlake Sunnyside Seniors.
Barbara was proceeded in death by her husband Waldo Grandstaff, sons David Grandstaff and Jay Grandstaff, her parents Joseph Kibler, mother Hilda M. Kibler Dofflemyer, and brother Jimmy Kibler.
She is survived by her sons Glen Grandstaff (wife Katie), Tim Grandstaff (wife Theresa), Steve Grandstaff (wife Denise), daughters Becky Wray (husband Jim), Heidi Hunt (husband Robbie) and Roxie Maule (husband Dan); and her grandchildren Tim Grandstaff Jr. (wife Tandy and family), Tadd Grandstaff (wife Becki and family), Katie Maloney (husband Jim and family), Jodie Christopherson (husband B.C. and family), Rebecca Jorgenson (husband Mike and family), Bethany Howard (husband Christopher and family), Christopher Jenkins (wife Brittany and family), Stephanie Glover (husband Chris), Whitney Simmons (husband Dustin and family), Lindsey Ussery (husband Taylor and family), Ryan Hunt (wife Afton and family), Melissa Kee (husband Nick), David Grandstaff Jr. (wife Brittany), Spenser Grandstaff, Glen Grandstaff Jr., Jami Williams (husband Adam), Caleb Wray, Justin Maule and Chasen Hunt. She is also survived by her sister Cynthia Osborn (husband Eddie and family) and brother Wayne Kibler (wife Paula).
Barbara Grandstaff's Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021, Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church, 1 Mountain View Road, Lynchburg, VA at 4:00 pm.
Her final resting place will be at a private family graveside service beside her husband and son in Luray, VA, Beahm's Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the continued rehabilitation of her grandson Spenser Grandstaff.
