Angela Dawn Allen, lovingly known as "Angie," passed away on March 16, 2025, in Roanoke, Virginia. She was born on April 8, 1975, in Roanoke, where she spent much of her life surrounded by family and friends who adored her.

Angie worked at Orvis in the Call Center and previously waited tables at Texas Steak House for four years. She had a passion for motorcycles, especially her Suzuki 750, and loved watching movies, listening to music, and sitting outside soaking up the sunshine. Angie enjoyed spending time talking to her friends and had the biggest heart for her beloved cats, Stormy and Ares. She also cherished conversations with her bird, Perky.

Angie lived for a time in Myrtle Beach and loved visits to Kings Dominion and Smith Mountain Lake. She had a remarkable knowledge of cars and loved racing them. Angie also enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, always taking pride in her appearance. She was very proud to have remained alcohol-free since her mother's passing—a testament to her strength and determination.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Allen; her father, Butch Allen; her sister, Crystal Allen; Seairra's father, David Mullins; cousins, Tammie Yopp and Gary Wayne; her mother's boyfriend, James Wheeler "Pee Wee"; her aunt, Debra Wilder; and her great-grandmother, Shirley Trent.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Seairra Allen, Randy Merchant, and Aliyah Allen; her grandchildren, Phoenix Allen and Urijah Allen; her grandmother, Pearly Nalley; her brother, Daniel Byers; her uncles, Jeff Allen and Brian Allen; her aunts, Sue Nalley, Tonya Nalley, Kathy Raines, and Diana Fitzgerald; her cousins, Rose Allen, Sherry Allen, Ricky Pacetti, and Michelle Trent; her family friend and caregiver, Rachel Stanley; and her dear friends, Vikki Brazeau and Shay Bolden.

A memorial service to celebrate Angie's life will be held on April 13, 2025, at Fallon Park (2116 Dale Ave SE, Roanoke, VA 24013), beginning at 12 p.m.

Angie will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
