Alnora Alice Lewis transitioned from time to eternity on Monday, June 22, 2026 at the Pulaski Rehab Center, following a brief illness.

She will be remembered for her unwavering faith and kindness that touched the lives of many. Her dedication and love for people was exemplified through her employment at Hillcrest House and  Ellenville Elementary School. Prior to these positions, she retired from Channel Master.

Alnora was preceded in death by her parents, Simuel O. Lewis Sr., and Alice Lewis, along with nephew, Dexter Richardson. She is survived by her daughter, Shaye Lewis Clemons, sister, Iris Jane Richardson, brother, Simuel O. Lewis, Jr, nephew, Oliver Lewis, God daughter, Deborah Brown, as well as her faithful and dedicated friend, Betty Williams. She also leaves to mourn, great nieces, nephews, and many friends, whose lives she touched through the years.

As a dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church for decades, she served as an usher, and the Chairperson of the Trustee Board. When not working or serving at the church, she enjoyed studying the Word, cooking and sewing.

She will be missed for her quick wit, love of life, people, and God.

To honor her memory, a private celebration of life, will be held with close family and friends.
