Alita Lynn Kender, born on September 12, 1974, in Roanoke, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the age of 50.

Alita was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed tremendously by her family and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gordon, and Elsie Edwards; her maternal grandparents, Warren, and Ollie Raines; and her mother, Linda Edwards.

Alita leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Timothy Kender (Sierra) and Christopher Kender; her beloved grandsons, Liam Kender and Owen Kender; her father, Henry Edwards; her brother, Tim Raines; her sisters, Crystal Kender; her nephews, Ryan Spence, Alex Spence, and Tyler Spence; and her ex-husband, Larry Kender.
